Welcome to the National Youth Advocate Program.  Since 1978, we have been a dynamic advocate for the rights of children, youth and families.  For over 30 years, from our beginnings as a two person agency in Van Wert, Ohio to our current operations spanning eight states, NYAP has operated under our Founder’s vision of community based, family focused services and the simple concept that we will never give up on a child.

We are proud of the difference we have made in the lives of the thousands of  children, youth, families and communities we have proudly served since 1978. With the continued support of our referral partners and dedicated foster parents, we will carry on our mission to strengthen families and communities.
