Providers will have the opportunity to hear Dr. Awad speak and earn two CEU’s for attending! Dr. Awad will speak on Child Advocacy for the first half and then be available to answer any questions.

About Our Founder, Dr. Mubarak Awad
From its first day, NYAP has been a reflection of the character and vision of our founder,Dr. Mubarak Awad. When Dr. Awad’s father was killed in 1948 in the Arab-Israeli War, his mother was not able to support Mubarak and his siblings. As a result, they were placed into an orphanage and his quest to reunite his own family began.
Based on his own childhood, his personal life experiences and his education in the United States, Dr. Awad developed the philosophy NYAP has embraced since 1978; that the primary focus of care must be holistically placed on preserving and unifying families and strengthening the communities they call home.
