NYAP has established a reputation for creating innovative programs that utilize community resources and contain costs.  The majority of NYAP’s revenue is generated by contracts for services provided to state and county agencies across the country.  NYAP has consistently earned high marks from independent auditors for its stewardship of the program’s funds.

NYAP is successful because it is flexible and adapts to the needs of youth, their families and the communities we serve.  In every instance, NYAP advocates for stability and permanency for youth and their families by:

§         Improving and restoring their ability to live productively and independently within the community.

§         Strengthening ties between youth and their families.

§         Promoting non-violent situations.

§         Educating the community about the special needs of youth and families.

§         Providing culturally relevant, community-based, family-focused services.
