National Youth Advocate Program - Indiana

Here are a few sources of information that may be beneficial to our NYAP foster parents or to people who would like to learn more about child advocacy and foster parenting.

Foster Club: A National Network for Young People in Foster Care
FosterClub helps open the way for young people in foster care to transform their lives and provides a forum to raise their voice.  Foster youth can connect with other foster youth around the nation and talk with people who are experiencing some of the same challenges they are facing. A MUST for foster youth to explore!

Atterbury Job Corps, students receive the skills needed to succeed in today’s workforce - at no cost to them or their families.

Job Corps
Job Corps is the nations largest and most comprehensive residential, education and job training program for at-risk youth, ages 16 through 24. They provide  disadvantaged young people the integrated academic, vocational, and social skills training they need to gain independence and get quality, long-term jobs or further their education.
